In the valley, you can see strange rocks with artificial shapes like pillars and beautiful waterfalls, and it is crowded with many people during the summer holiday season.

Kofu Castle

The castle was built at the end of the 1500s by the order of Hideyoshi Toyotomi. Also known as Maizuru Castle, it is now open to the public for free as Maizuru Park. On the premises, you can see stone walls, quarry ruins, turret ruins, and restored castle gates of each era.

Takeda Shrine

It is a shrine that enshrines Shingen Takeda. It holds a sword called “Meiichi”, an important cultural property that has been handed down to the Sanjo family, a Japanese public house. It has long been familiar to the locals as a place to pray when praying for victory, thanks to the power of the veteran warlord Shingen Takeda.
